โดยปัจจุบัน แบ่งแยกส่วนผสม whitening ตามกลไกการทำงาน ได้ดังนี้ (เรียงลำดับ จากการเริ่มต้นก่อตัวของเม็ดสี จนถึงการสลายตัว ของเม็ดสี)

 

1. Reduce UVB induced inflammation and oxidation ลดการอักเสบหรืออนุมูลอิสระ ที่ถูกกระตุ้นด้วยแสง UVB ตัวอย่างกลุ่มนี้เช่น Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, Licorice Extract แทบทุกชนิด รวมถึงสารลดการอักเสบผิวอื่นๆ

 

2. Suppression of Endothelin-1 ยับยั้ง peptide Endothelin-1 ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นในกระบวนการ Melanogenesis ที่เกิดจาก UVB เช่น Tranexamic Acid

 

3. Inhibition of Tyrosinase activators ยับยั้งสารที่เป็น activators ของเอนไซม์ tyrosinase ซึ่งเป็นเอนไซม์ที่ทำหน้าที่ผลิตเม็ดสี เมลานิน ตัวอย่างกลุ่มนี้ เช่น MSH White™ และ Z-White™

 

4. Supression of tyrosinase and melanin synthesis ยับยั้งการทำงานของ เอนไซม์ tyrosinase และกระบวนการสังเคราะห์เม็ดสีผิว เมลานิน เช่น Kojic Acid, Glabridin จาก Licorice Extract, Activated Resorcinol, SymWhite™, Placenta Extract (สารสกัดรกแกะ สารสกัดรกม้า สารสกัดรกหมู), Alpha Arbutin, N-acetyl glucosamine, Resveratrol, Oxyresveratrol, Deoxyarbutin , Ellagic acid

 

5. Reactive oxygen species เช่น Vitamin C ทุกชนิด

 

6. Supression of release of melanin ยับยั้งกระบวนการปล่อยเม็ดสีสู่ผิว เช่น Vitamin B3

 

7. Turnover and desquamation promotion กระตุ้นการผลัดเซลล์ผิว เช่น AHA, BHA, PHA, LHA ทุกชนิด

 

8. Prevention of tyrosinase formation ยับยั้งการก่อตัวของเอนไซม์ tyrosinase เช่น Z-White™

 

9. Copper Interaction เช่น Vitamin C ทุกชนิด

 

10. Inhibition of melanosome maturation เช่น Alpha Arbutin, Deoxyarbutin

 

11. Promotion of tyrosynase decomposition กระตุ้นการแตกสลายของ (ทำลาย) เอนไซม์ tyrosinase เช่น 4MSK

 

โดยสรุปจึงพบว่า Z-White™ สามารถออกฤทธิ์ด้าน whitening ได้ 2 กลไก ทำให้เหมาะสมอย่างยิ่ง ในการร่วมกันใช้กับส่วนผสมอื่นๆที่มีกลไกต่างกัน เพื่อเสริมประสิทธิภาพผลิตภัณฑ์ให้ผิวขาว ได้อย่างสมบูรณ์

 

อัตราการใช้: 0.1-3% แนะนำ 1% การใช้ในอัตราสูงเกิน 1.0% อาจจะรู้สึกยุบยิบบนผิว ในช่วงประมาณ 1-3นาทีแรก เมื่อทาลงบนผิว
