When comparing the results of using hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid in combination with other whitening agents over an 8-week period, and after discontinuing hydroquinone + tretinoin for 12 weeks, users reported a significant improvement in skin brightening after continuing use of hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid for another 8 weeks.
