Application Details
Case 1: Car Coating
Coating Thickness: 3-8 µm
Application: Rubbing/Brushing
Effect: Brightens car surface, anti-corrosion, anti-graffiti, anti-scratch
Recommended Solid Content: 10%-20%
Dilution Example:
- Solvent adjustable per customer requirements.
- Ratio: 9H Silicone Resin (Polysilazane): Solvent = 1:3-8. Mix solvent into the resin.
- Seal with high purity argon/nitrogen in a metal container.
Usage:
- Dip a clean non-woven fabric in the prepared polysilazane solvent and wipe evenly on the treated car surface.
- Allow to dry at room temperature for 30-60 min, then heat at 60-80°C for over 3 hours to fully cure.
Case 2: Anti-Corrosion Coating
Coating Thickness: 10-15 µm
Application: Spraying/Brushing
Effect: Transparent coating maintains camouflage texture of radar/equipment, provides anti-corrosion, anti-graffiti, anti-scratch, and offers hydrophobic and high-temperature resistance.
Recommended Solid Content: 15%-25%
Dilution Example:
- Solvent adjustable per customer requirements.
- Ratio: 9H Silicone Resin (Polysilazane): Solvent = 1:2-5. Mix solvent into the resin.
- Seal with high purity argon/nitrogen in a metal container.
Usage:
- Spray the prepared polysilazane solvent evenly on the substrate surface.
- Allow to dry at room temperature for 60 min, then heat at 45°C for 2 hours, followed by 125°C for 1 hour.
Compatibility: Miscible with most non-polar solvents (e.g., alkanes, ethers, ketones, esters). Insoluble in alcohol and ether solvents (e.g., diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, diethylene glycol dibutyl ether, tetraethyl ether butyl glycol ether). Compatible with various resins (e.g., epoxy silicone resin, silicone resin), which can shorten curing time and improve hardness.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated environment away from heat and fire. Recommended storage temperature: 0-20°C. Use gloves and masks. Keep uncured product away from fire, humid air, and water. Replace air with nitrogen/argon and seal tightly after use. Dispose of unused, formulated product according to local regulations. Retest expired products before use.
Cleaning: Quickly wipe surfaces with acetone or mineral spirits after use. Cured coating cannot be washed away by solvent; treat with 10% sodium hydroxide solution for over 5 hours.
Package: Available in metal containers of 100 ml, 1 L, and 5 L.
Precautions: Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area away from heat and fire sources. Keep the container tightly closed and handle with care. Storage temperature should be 0-20°C. Shelf life is 12 months.
