WhiteCare™ Beta-carotene (extracted from Dunaliella Salina algae) is a special type of Beta Carotene with special extraction technology, making it more effective than general Beta Carotene and can be dispersed directly in water.
Tests have shown that WhiteCare™ Beta-carotene has the following beneficial effects on the body, in addition to general Beta Carotene:
1. Effective in inhibiting free radicals. It was found that a concentration rate of only 1mg/ml can inhibit the formation of free radicals (DPPH) by more than 75%.
2. Effective in inhibiting the formation of pigments (helps whiten the skin). It was found that a concentration rate of only 1mg/ml can inhibit the formation of pigments (anti-tyrosinase) by more than 60%.
3. Contains a concentration of Beta-carotene higher than 10%.

Benefits of Beta-carotene
The human body can convert beta-carotene into vitamin A in the amount the body needs. It also acts as an antioxidant. It is a lipid, a pigment group that is orange and yellow in color, in the carotenoid group. It is classified as a carotenoid that is a precursor of vitamin A (pro vitamin A) because it can be converted into retinol in the lining of the small intestine and liver.
Beta-carotene is a pigment found in a variety of fruits and vegetables, including carrots, sweet potatoes, and green leafy vegetables. It is converted to vitamin A in the body and has several health benefits, including:
Eye Health: Beta-carotene is involved in the production of pigments in the eyes and may be important for maintaining healthy eyesight.
Immune System Support: Beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant that may help support immune function.
Skin Health: Beta-carotene is involved in the production of collagen, which is important for skin health.
Cancer prevention: Some studies suggest that beta-carotene may be effective in preventing the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Heart health: Some research suggests that consuming foods rich in beta-carotene may have a positive effect on cholesterol levels and blood pressure, which are risk factors for heart disease.
Cognitive Function: Some studies suggest that beta-carotene may have positive effects on cognitive function, and may be effective in improving memory and mental clarity.
Anti-inflammatory: Beta-carotene has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be helpful in reducing inflammation in the body.
