VersaMoist™ or PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether is used in the majority of Shiseido products due to its wide range of effectiveness:
1. Enhance Skin Penetrating
Can help carry ingredients into the skin well because it itself can dissolve in both water. and both oils act as a connector between the ingredients and the skin because of the layers of the skin There is a whole layer that dissolves in water. and the oil-soluble layer When in the water layer , VersaMoist™ easily binds and dissolves into the water layer. And when absorbed into the oil-soluble layer , VersaMoist™ continuously binds and dissolves into the oil layer.
2. Versatile Moisturizing, soluble in water, non-polar oil and polar oil.
Can be dissolved in water and oil (both polar types and non-polar), making it easy to mix with any formula. Works to moisturize the skin in every formula. It also helps improve the texture of the formula. Reduce stickiness.
3. Emulsion Stabilizer, reduce surface tension / improve emulsion stability
Can be used in both water-in-oil formulas and oil-in-water formulas, which can help increase the stability of the formula because VersaMoist™ reduces the surface tension of the water and oil phases. Reduce the chance of class separation
Usage: For all kinds of cosmetics Available in the form of gel, serum, lotion or cream.
How to mix: Mix with water or oil. Because it is soluble in both water and oil.
Usage rate: 0.5-3%
Product appearance: clear liquid
Solubility: can be dissolved in water and oil (cannot be dissolved in silicone)
Storage: For long-term storage Store at room temperature. Avoid sunlight and heat. At least 2 years old
