HydroAlgae ™ is a combination of Hydrolysed Algin and Chlorella vulgaris. (microalgae or very small algae), which makes it similar to the coating of algae (seaweed), which is characterized by good water loss prevention.
From the skin moisturizing test, it was found that HydroAlgae ™ can provide long-lasting moisture to the skin. When after discontinuing use Remain moisture on the skin for at least 6 days.
From the test of skin moisturizing comparison with each moisturizer, it was found that:
Hyaluronic Acid 0.05% Gel: provides instant hydration when applied. And continuously for about 2 hours
Urea 5% Solution: Provides long-lasting hydration. But it cannot provide moisture at the Stratum corneum (epidermis) level, but rather moisturize the subcutaneous layer as well as cause skin irritation.
Glycerin 5% Gel: Moisturizes Stratum Corneum, but cannot moisturize the layers underneath the skin.
HydroAlgae ™ 1%: Provides moisture for all skin layers. More continuous and longer than other options
