SiliClear™ Emulsion Base has an odor from the formula's components. It is recommended to add perfume at 0.5-1.0% to mask the odor of the ingredients.

Example of adjusting the clarity of a formula

SiliClear™ Emulsion Base when adding 1% perfume, mix well. The formula may become cloudy. Add DMI 0.5% at a time. Blend until smooth. Check the texture. If it's still not clear, add a little at a time and blend until it's clear.

Example of adjusting the thickness of a recipe

SEPGEL 305 can be added in an amount of 0.1% to adjust the thickness to make the gel thicker. The formula is still clear as before. by gradually adding it into the base and continue blending at low speed until completely dissolved.
