    In a study in 39 male and 36 female athletes, after 4 weeks the HMB group had a statistically significant reduction in fat content (1.1% reduction in HMB group, a 1.1% reduction in the control group). down 0.5%) and the HMB group was able to increase their bench press weight by 7.5 kg, which was 5.2 kg more than the control group.

    Studies have shown that the amount of HMB in the blood is highest after 1 hour of taking HMB.

    It is therefore recommended that 1-2 g of HMB be taken at least 30 minutes prior to exercise in order to have enough HMB in the blood to reduce the rate of muscle breakdown during exercise and to have the maximum amount of HMB that stimulates it.
