Cetearyl Alcohol is a thickener or thickener in cream. It is in the form of flakes. When mixed with any Cream Maker, it will help increase the texture of the cream, make the cream heavier, and give a thicker cream texture.
The types sold are Cetyl Alcohol 50%, Stearyl Alcohol 50%.
Cetearyl Alcohol is an occlusive emollient or helps to coat the skin to reduce the chance of water loss from the skin, so it is a moisturizer in itself.
Cetearyl Alcohol is a combination of Cetyl Alcohol and Stearyl Alcohol to help increase skin gentleness and improve skin coating efficiency compared to Cetyl Alcohol alone.
Cetearyl Alcohol must not be used with any type of Cream Maker because Cetearyl Alcohol cannot bind water and oil.
Cetearyl Alcohol will cause a white cast when applied to the skin. If you do not want a white cast when applied to the skin, please use Pentaerythrityl Distearate instead.
Example of using Cetearyl Alcohol to help make the cream heavier.
