Potassium Cetyl Phosphate is a highly effective emulsifier. Commonly used in skin cream, lotion and sunscreen formulas. To help increase the stability of the formula (not commonly used as a single emulsifier)
Use at 1.5-3.0% for acting as Main water-oil binder of the formula
Use at 0.5-1.0% for increasing stability of formulas that have separation problems.
Potassium Cetyl Phosphate must be dissolved in the oil portion of the formula. Using heat of about 90 degrees, mix it with the oil part. before cementing with the water part
Usage: For any formula Acts as an emulsifier
Mixing method: Mix in oil with heat at 90 degrees.
Usage rate: 1.5-3.0% for use as primary emulsifier, 0.5-1.5% for use as emulsion stabilizer.
Product appearance: white powder
Solubility: Can be dispersed in water, oil.
Storage: Can be stored at room temperature. Completely protected from sunlight and heat. The product has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
