Caprylyl Methicone is Trisiloxane that has been structurally modified (branched) to have the outstanding properties of Trisiloxane that is soft, smooth, and very light. The structural modification makes Caprylyl Methicone soluble in oils and various types of Hydrocarbons and LipidSoft. Compared to Trisiloxane which is less widely soluble.

Caprylyl Methicone has the highest lightness. and evaporates as quickly as possible It has a slightly thicker texture than Trisiloxane.

Because Caprylyl Methicone is more expensive than Trisiloxane, if the formula does not require special solubility properties, please choose Trisiloxane instead.

Caprylyl Methicone can dissolve in:

1. All types of Hydrocarbons such as Mineral Oil , Isohexadecane , Isododecane

2. Almost every type of natural oil such as Jojoba Oil , Almond Oil , Olive Oil , Coconut Oil, Sesame Oil , Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil (except Castor Oil)

3. All types of LipidSoft

4. Some types of wax, such as Beeswax

5. All types of Silicone

Examples of use

- Use in any skin care cream formula. To help reduce the stickiness of the formula.

- Used in cream recipes Contains heavy oils such as natural oils , vaseline , mineral oil to help make the formula soft and smooth. and sticks to the skin well

- Increase blending ability given to any woman

- Serves to help distribute sunscreen, increasing the SPF value of the sunscreen formula (SPF Booster).

- Serves to help distribute organic color powder evenly throughout the formula. and has a smooth color on the skin

Usage: for all kinds of products To give a slip skin feel when used

How to mix: Mix in silicone or if you want to mix in water, use SiliSolve to bind water to silicone.

Usage rate: 0.5-50%

Product characteristics: Clear liquid, light texture (thickness 1 mPa.s)

Solubility: Can be dissolved in any Silicone and various oils (such as Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Apricot Oil) and any LipidSoft.

Storage: Can be stored at room temperature. But close the bottle cap tightly. Then completely protected from sunlight or heat. The product has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
