Surfactants Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Coco Betaine)
Popularly called trade names DEHYTON K/I5, Betain F 50, Euroquat PK37.
It is an amphoteric surfactant (Amphoteric Surfactants), which is a surfactant that has both positive and negative charges. It is gentle (Mild) with 66% natural ingredients. Made from natural organic compounds obtained from coconut oil (Coconut Oil), oil from the pulp of palm kernels (Palm Kernel Oil). Does not irritate the skin and hair. Suitable for use as a surfactant. (Surfactants) in the personal product group such as liquid soap, shampoo, facial soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, etc.
Can be compatible with other types of surfactants such as surfactants with anion (Anionic Surfactants), surfactants without ions (Non-ionic Surfactants), and reducing agents. Tighten the surface with a positive charge (Cationic Surfactants)
It is a secondary surfactant. (Co-Surfactants) to help create foam? to various detergents. The nature of the foam that is obtained is a smooth and fine foam. It helps add texture to the cleansing product well, providing a smooth, soft foam texture that makes the user feel good while cleansing. Can create foam in both hard and non-hard water. Molecular characteristics of this type of substance One end captures water molecules well, helping to rinse off easily. The other end will bind to the fat molecule. Has the ability to bind with dirt. Makes grease stains fall off.
Usage: For skin or hair cleansing products
Mixing method: mixed in water, can withstand heat. Provides the most foam when in a formula with pH 7.0.
Usage rate: 4-40% (shampoo uses approximately 15-30% if used as the main detergent of the formula)
Product characteristics: Cloudy/clear liquid with pH range 5.5-7 (at 10% concentration in water)
Solubility: Can dissolve in water
Storage: Can be stored at room temperature. But close the bottle cap tightly. Then completely protected from sunlight or heat. The product has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
