Basic Violet 2 is a Basic Dyes color for hair color products
*Semi Permanent color cannot be adjusted to make the hair lighter without bleaching the hair first, in the case of using on unbleached hair, using a light color like this Use only in formulas to adjust the tone of dark colors*
- The color will gradually stick to the hair more and more. When used more times
- in conditioner formula Will give better and faster results than in shampoo formulas.
- Not suitable for use with surfactant or detergent. The group is negatively charged (anionic) because of this type of pigment. It has the characteristics of a positive charge. Therefore, you should choose to use non-ionic detergents. (non-ionic) e.g. Lauryl Glucoside , Coco Glucoside or amphoteric groups such as Coco-Foam™
- In the formula, avoid all types of elements that are salt or electrolyte which will affect the longevity of the hair color.
- Formula should be used ColorFix™ at 0.6% for hair color shampoo or use ColorFix™ at 5% for conditioner or hair color treatment to help color Sticks to the hair better. And the color sticks tightly and lasts longer.
- Color adherence on the hair will be better when the formula is more alkaline. Because it will help open the hair scales. Makes the color stick to the hair better. But the pH cannot be adjusted beyond 9 because it will cause this type of color to decompose. Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the pH to 9.
Example hair color shampoo recipe:
Water to 100%
Amphoteric surfactants such as Coco-Foam™ (Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine) 20%
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (serves to create gel texture) 1.0%
Benzophenone-4 (Helps prevent color deterioration when exposed to light) 0.2%
ColorFix™ (Helps hair color stick better) 0.6%
SemiColor 0.2%
add Triethanolamine Adjust the pH value to approximately 9.
Usage: For hair color changing products
Mixing method: Mix in water and use heat at 70-80 degrees to help dissolve.
Usage rate: 0.1-1.0% (recommended 0.2%)

Solubility: Can dissolve in hot water 70-80 degrees.
