If a gel is desired, this can only be done by using Hydroxyethyl Cellulose or HPMC or a non-ionic thickener.

Salicylic Acid (normal type) is not soluble in water. Usage rate 0.1-2%.

SalicSoft® (Betaine Salicylate) is directly water soluble. Application rate 1-4%. Reduces irritation. Suitable for use in gel/cream formulations. Leave on skin.

Complex Salicylic Acid in powder form, directly soluble in water, usage rate 1-5%, suitable for use in gel/cream formulas, leave on the skin.

Encapsulated Salicylic Acid Liquid (For rinse-off products only) is water soluble. Usage rate: 1-6.6%. Suitable for use in face wash/rinse-off formulas. Special characteristics: Can be effective for a long time by gradually releasing the substance into the skin.

Liquid Salicylic Acid Water soluble, usage rate 1-5%, suitable for use in leave-on formulas, easy to mix, can be added to creams or gels or directly into water, can be dissolved until clear.

Encapsulated Salicylic Acid Powder can be dispersed in any formula. Usage rate 1-4%. Suitable for use in gel/cream formulas. Leave on the skin that requires high efficiency and reduces irritation . Special characteristics: Can act long-term by gradually releasing the substance into the skin.

Acacia Salicylic Acid is water soluble. The usage rate is 0.5-4%. It is suitable for use in gel/cream formulas. It is left on the skin for high efficiency and reduced irritation. Special characteristics: It can work for a long time by gradually releasing the substance into the skin and dissolving in clear water.

Mixing method: Mix in desired products. Can be dissolved directly in water.

Usage rate: 1-5% (use according to desired efficiency. Recommended: 2.5%, which is equivalent to 1% Active Salicylic Acid for minor acne, and 5%, which is equivalent to 2% Active Salicylic Acid for severe acne.)

Solubility: Soluble in water.
