Please inquire as follows.

1. Deteriorated papain in a successful formula Will the formula change color like the oxidised Vitamin C ?

2. If testing the stability of the formula containing Papain in an incubator at a temperature exceeding 40 degrees, what will be the result? Will the whole formula fail the test or not, despite the other ingredients? high stability

3. Can I use Papain with Vitamin C such as Ascorbyl Glucoside ?

Papain when worn out Won't have a color like ascorbic acid . It will have to be tested by other methods.


It depends on other components in the formula, but usually enzyme tends to deteriorate quickly. If heated at 40 degrees


Please check Papain 's optimal pH range on the ingredients page. Ascorbic acid is quite acidic. which is a limitation that may cause it to not be used together in the same formula
