problem recipe shower gel with sodium lauryol sarcosinate

Postby tiphaine.remond » Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:22 am

I ordered some Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate and sodium lauryol sarcosinate. I would like to know, how can they be thickened ? I am looking for a natural solution, with sodium chloride for example, but in what proportion? Or do you have other solution ? Each time I manage to thick my shower gel with sodium chloride and these surfactant it was not stable : the next day the shower gel was once again liquide. Thank you in advance for your response. Best regards,

Hi, The surfactant that you have been working with are amino-acid based. They can't be thickened by salt (sodium chloride). Here are some choices that you have: ThickClean ClearClean Xanthan Gum SugarThick EasyThick These may be used together. However, only one is enough for each formulation.
