Cosmetics Formulation Development

Dear staff, I am making a TransDerm al oil with 1 ingredient. The problem I am having is that my ingredient is crystallising in the oil (not stable). I have encountered this problem in the past with a different carrier (not oil) and the solution was to add another compound to the carrier. Having two different compounds in the carrier prevented crystallization. So, my question is what benign compounds could I add to my oil carrier to prevent crystallisation? I am currently looking at Vitamin A . Are there any other options?

Hi, You will have to check the solubility of your ingredient in different solvents and use the correct solvent to prevent the recrystallization.
